SPACE ELEVATOR CAMP  2008

First of all a BIG THANK YOU to everybody for their help and support bringing Space Elevator out to the playa !!!

Here are the logistics:

The Space Elevator is located on 10:00 O'Clock between Jeep and K-Car, so the outer corner of 10:00 O'Clock.

WE are leaving with the truck on Saturday to be on the playa by Sunday night.

Depending on availability, we will try to stake out a big area between 9:30 and 9:45 on the most outer ring for those who want to camp with us.

WE have Andrew's car port that WE want to put in the middle as a communal hang out spot.

We also have an electric pump shower that WE want to set up, but everyone has to bring their own water to shower.

We will set up the Space Elevator camp Monday, Tuesday (sound check) and Wednesday.

We have to built the shade structure, the stage, a projection pyramid and the chill out tent, please come and help us set up whenever you have the time and energy.

If you have any decorative material or objects, power tools, other tools or lights that you think might be helpful, please bring them.

WE will bring a small 1000W generator to run/charge electrical gear.

We also need ladders, if you have one (even a small 3 or 4-footer), please bring them or drop them at Celinha's house by Saturday morning.

Jovis will start off da pardy on Wednesday at 4 PM.

Attached is the schedule/lineup for all 4 nights/days and a flyer that you can post to all your favorite lists and online places.

Re donations, we are only a couple thousand short at this point,
but with the current momentum we are hoping that we will actually be able to break even.

This will be a great year and WE can't wait to see everyone out there !!!
