Helios is a San Francisco native djing and producing music since 1998. He discovered trance in the 90's but the day he found X-Dream Radio. It was then Helios decided to go back to school to get a degree in audio engineering. This further fostered his love for creating music as well as Mastering, Producing Studio Sessions, 3d Surround Sound Mixing, & Live Sound Engineering. Armed with this knowledge Helios has gone on to produce a huge range of music including multiple 3d Surround Sound performances with Chromatone & Random. Helios's music is best described as funky morning music, with building progressions and ripping tripped out leads. When playing Live, Helios gets really into live percussion, theres just something about it that taps into the subconscious minds of listeners. Helios draws allot of influence from 60's and 70's psychedelic rock, which filled his ears since before he could even walk. Helios has been fortunate enough to play or work with the following musicians: CPU, Jirah, Pure Pressure, Penta, Naked Tourist, Mubali, Ocelot, Quadra, Silicon Sound, Cosmosis, Earthling, Deeper in Zen, Chromatone, Random, Neuromotor, Hyper Frequencies, Konflux & The Loomii. Recently, Helios has just finished his first full length album "Aries Rising" which is available now. Working with Random, Helios is also pioneering a new hybrid sound under the project name MegaDrop. Look for many more releases to come!
